Chapter 1: We Meet Juni
Juni was a boy with a troubled past. His greatest wish was for someone to come find him and love him forever.
He knew what love was. He just wasn't sure he had ever truly experienced it.
But he longed to.
Chapter 2: A Little Peace
It was a warm summer day. Juni was wandering the hallways of his cold, dark home.
A cold, lingering mustiness hung on the boy's dark, matted hair. It was like a cloud filling his mind with loneliness.
The rays of the sun could not enter that lonely house.
The day was bright and pure. But Juni's heart was troubled and full of sadness.
On days like these, wandering was the only thing Juni wanted to do. It made him feel at peace.
He felt at peace because he could make his actions the same as his heart. It gave him some control. He had very little control over his own life.
Chapter 3: A Guide to Lead
As Juni was walking up and down the halls, he heard a voice.
That's strange, he thought.
He had never heard voices before.
"Juni," the voice whispered. "Why do you feel so sad?"
"I don't really know."
Juni suddenly felt hot tears begin to flow. They were tears he had been holding in for a very long time.
"I'm always sad. I don't know why, but I can never find happiness."
"My sweet child, it's okay to feel sad. I know you are hurting. But come, let me show you something. I want to show you that there's hope."
And with that, Juni wiped the tears from his eyes and began making his way somewhere. He didn't know exactly where, but he could feel himself being led. And it was so comforting.
Juni walked on. Somehow, it no longer felt like wandering. He knew he was going somewhere special.
He was walking down the dim halls of the same lonely house, which he had done so many times before. But it felt different this time.
It felt right.
Of course, Juni was still carrying a lot of pain in that aching heart of his. But as the voice had said earlier, perhaps there was hope.
There was very little light in the hallways of that house. Even so, Juni felt like the tiniest flicker of a light had been turned on from within.
He wasn't completely sure. But he thought it was possible.
