The 7th Annual Story of the Year Contest has officially closed, and we are thrilled by the incredible response! Your passion, creativity, and dedication to crafting compelling, diverse stories for striving readers have truly inspired us.
With the contest now in the review phase, our judges are hard at work evaluating submissions from writers around the world. We are excited to uncover the stories that will captivate readers and contribute to the mission of improving literacy outcomes for teens and young adults everywhere.
Save the Date: Winners will be announced on April 7, 2025! Selected works will earn a share of the $15,000 in prizes, publication in digital and print formats, and a place in the Storyshares library, reaching tens of thousands of readers across all 50 states and more than 180 countries.
